-
Do I have to pick up my child if he/she is sick?Yes. We like to promote a safe and healthy environment for all children. We follow Toronto Public Health Guidelines and request that you keep your child home until they are feeling better. This ensures that they, as well as the other children at our centre, are healthy and safe.
-
What are the deadlines for drop-off and pick-up?Children should arrive at the centre no later than 10:30a.m. so they are able to enjoy the planned activities for the day. The centre closes at 6:00p.m. and late fees will be charged for late pick-up. Please respect that our teachers also have their own lives to get home to as well.
-
What happens if I am late picking up my child? We close at 6:00p.m. A late fee of $1.00 for each minute is charged between 6:00p.m. – 6:10p.m. Afterwards, a charge of $2.00 per minute until pick-up will apply. All late fees are to be paid directly to the teacher staying late with your child upon pick up. There will always be 2 teachers staying back until childcare is locked.
-
Do I have to pay fees while my child is home ill or on vacation?Yes. You are responsible for fees the entire time your child is enrolled, and not just when they attend.
-
How are fees processed?Your childcare fees are to be paid monthly by Debit Interac. You will receive a monthly fee memo which outlines your childcare fees for the month. All payments must be paid by the 7th of each month to avoid disruption in your child care fees. If you are unable to pay by the 7th on each month you may request an extension of payment from the childcare supervisor. A $2.00/day late fee will apply until balance is paid in full. Monthly payment cannot be moved into the following month.
