OUR TEAM
We service two schools in the Scarborough Area White Haven At Kimbercroft Childcare & Learning Centre we are proud of our warm and devoted staff who are the heart and soul of our centre. Each room is staffed with Registered Early Childhood Educators and Early Childhood Assistants. All staff are fully trained in First Aid/CPR and must have a clear Criminal Reference Check.School and St. Elizabeth Seaton Catholic School. The children are walked to and from school and daycare.
Our experienced staff understand how to love, nurture, support and challenge each individual child. Our teachers know how to ask questions that stimulate a child’s imagination, and set the building blocks in place for academic success. At Kimbercroft our staff also believe that the early years of life are the most crucial in a child’s development and those who care for a child must meet each new stage of growth with love, enthusiasm, and guidance.
Our teachers have diverse cultural backgrounds, speak a wide range of languages and are always recognizable in our classrooms by their Kimbercroft uniforms.
We are a dedicated team. One that is passionate about Early Childhood Education. Every one of our teachers consistently goes above and beyond to make sure your child loves learning. We create an environment that nurtures growth, development and one that provides them with a real sense of readiness – for “Big School”!
Our teachers follow the AQI (Assessment for Quality Improvement) created by the City of Toronto which serves as a self-evaluation and planning tool for child care and educators. Each year a Quality Assurance Analyst visits our centre to ensure that we deliver an exceptional program. All programs receive a rating which is posted online on the Toronto’s website.
